The purpose of this study is to provide solutions for Mexico to be a country with physically active citizens to eradicate obesity and sedentary lifestyle, as well as provide solutions that allow for better athletes. It is necessary to apply the Administration Theories to develop sports administration in Mexico. It is concluded that Mexico is a country with an inadequate administration of sports, which is causing athletes not to reach their maximum performance or potential. Consequently, more and more sedentary people have metabolic diseases associated with obesity. A possible solution to this is a reengineering in the National Sports System making changes where you have to apply the General Theory of the Administration to create programs that benefit athletes and make propaganda for a sport and active culture in the population to make Mexico a healthier country. A documentary research was carried out with an analytical inductive method that consisted of collecting information through qualitative research and techniques. For example, interviews with sport managers, coaches, athletes, sedentary and overweight people of Mexico City in order to verify how the lack of application of the General Theory of the Administration is causing an inadequate administration of the sport that has caused low results in sports, obesity and sedentary lifestyle in the country.
